About

Our Mission

We're building Lucive because focus shouldn't feel like punishment.

Most productivity apps lock you out, shame you with broken streaks, and treat distraction like a discipline problem. But your brain isn't broken—it's responding exactly as designed when apps are engineered to be addictive.

Lucive is different. We're creating a space that works with your brain, not against it. A retreat, not a prison. Somewhere you actually want to go when you need focus.

Find the quiet your mind's been missing.

Who we are

We're two college students tired of losing hours to scrolling.

One of us codes. One of us creates the art. Both of us needed this app to exist.

We tried every focus app out there. They all felt punitive and stressful, another thing demanding attention instead of giving peace. So we built something different.

We're building Lucive for people like us: people who want to be present, who are tired of fighting their phones, who just want some quiet.

Our Future Vision

Right now, we're deep in development. We're building the campsite piece by piece, the authentication system, the focus sessions, the interactive scenes that make this feel like a real retreat instead of just another app.

We're choosing calm over complexity. Progress over perfection. Support over punishment.

This isn't about revolutionizing productivity or disrupting the market. It's about creating something genuinely helpful for people who need it.

We're still building. The fire isn't lit yet. But we're getting close.

When we launch, you'll find a space designed to help you reclaim your focus without making you feel bad about yourself. Just a gentle invitation to find some quiet when you need it.
